A 51-bed residential treatment facility offering differing levels of care, supervision and therapeutic services. “The Ranch” is comprised of three distinct living environments each with differing levels of care and supervision.

Located on 15 acres on the outskirts of Bakersfield within Kern County., The Ranch sits in an idyllic little valley, alongside the Kern River, agriculture and open space. Our treatment houses provide warm living opportunities and shared bedrooms, where our clients can experience collaborative living and meaningful relationships.

Here, clients are encouraged to take responsibilities for themselves, and to participate in every aspect of their care. We believe The Ranch represents a truly unique opportunity for persons struggling with severe and persistent mental illness within a setting unlike any other for our Regional Center-referred residents with co-occurring mental illness.
